Railway Mission is deeply grateful for the generous support we receive from a wide range of donors and partners. Approximately 80% of our funding comes directly from the rail industry, reflecting the strong value the sector places on Chaplaincy and our contribution to the mental health and wellbeing of the railway family. We are also supported by industry partners who provide vital in-kind support and access to services we would otherwise be unable to afford - partnerships that make a real difference to our daily work.

Equally essential are the donations we receive from individual supporters, legacies, fundraising events, and other charitable giving. Every contribution - large or small, one-off or regular - is vital to the continuation of our mission: to be there for every individual in their time of need.

These diverse streams of funding allow us to invest more than 80% of our income directly into our chaplains’ salaries and training, ensuring that the majority of our resources go straight to delivering compassionate, face-to-face support across the rail network.
