We use British Transport Police stations as a reference point for chaplains' locations; this is because the railway staff will know which police station covers their location.

Railway Mission chaplains are a group of specially trained people who offer friendship and a listening ear to anyone connected with our nation’s railways. We are a Christian charity offering support to everyone, regardless of faith, lifestyle, position, or anything else.

So if life’s journey feels threatened, we offer face-to-face friendship and an opportunity to talk about problems and explore solutions.

We’re also on hand to help staff and the public in the event of railway-related incidents, including fatalities.
